What’s the difference between a permanent member and a voluntary member?

Permanent members are members who will need to sign a contract of commitment (invite only). Voluntary members are member who volunteer to participate in a certain program hosted by us (will not help in plannings).

What does each department do in general?

Public Relations - Manages the social media platforms and plays a role in exchanging information between external parties/reaching out to other orphanages. Makes monthly report for social media progress and updates (such as viewer insights and followers progress)

Finance & Marketing - Is in charge of the budgeting, tracks cash flow, plans the fundraisings and promotes the campaigns. Works closely with PR in case the promotion is required to be on our social media platforms. 

Media relations - Works closely alongside PR and is in charge of everything that relates to designing (posters, visuals, merch and slides)

Liason Officers - Coordinate programs and flow of events, are somewhat like the volunteers but are permanent members. They work like ushers and are key manpowers. They are subjected to help any other departments in case of a requirement for substitution

Logistics - Monitors and handles digital or physical resources such as the website and/or prints for posters. Works closely with all departments as they work as the engine of the whole team. Is also in charge of photographing the programs. Works closely with marketing and MR as they do the dirty work (purchasing, printing). In charge of the volunteering members who only participate in select few events like the google forms and all.

External Affaors - This department serves as the trainers/teachers in charge of doing the voices unwritten (as teachers) and writes the contents for ‘Educational Hackademia’ so they work closely with logistics, pr and media relations

How will fundings be obtained?

Fundings will be obtained by baking&selling, along with selling other items.

What’s the age minimum to be a volunteer?

P6 (12 years old)
